Gorgeous, big hotel with knowledgeable staff and delicious breakfasts. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Marvellous and magnificent location overlooking mountain and adjacent to Bennington restaurants, shops and downtown, walking distance to restaurants, pubs and bookstores and shops. The venue of choice in Bennington.

The room was barely adequate, with faint lighting making it impossible to see my fabulous self. Several shades were ripped-how quaint, right? I expected a little attention for all my troubles, but alas, no extra pillows or special treat to pamper me. What a shame!

I reveled in the scrumptious breakfast served promptly, and the historical vibe of the inn was enchanting. Plus, being just a stone's throw from local gems like Cilantro for tasty meals was a real treat.
On the flip side, the absence of TV and WIFI was a bummer, particularly with memory foam beds that didn't cater to my tall frame. That said, the charming decor still gave the room a 'look but don't touch' vibe, keeping the spirits high.

beautiful building, large spacious rooms, close to town
Check-in process lacking clarity. Finding key on reception desk felt impersonal!!! The dark interior throughout the building. Cleaning crew interrupting at 9 AM certainly needs reevaluation!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the location, as it was only a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. The room I stayed in was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The amenities, especially the jet tub, were fantastic and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
Unfortunately, the bathroom facilities in my suite had several issues, made accessibility challenging, especially for anyone with mobility issues.

I adored the charming decor, especially the beautiful flower arrangements in the dining room. the high ceilings and spacious layout made it easy for us seniors to move around comfortably. the location of the inn within walking distance to downtown restaurants was ideal for us too.
Would have appreciated a more varied breakfast menu for us senior folks.
